What To Expect

What To Expect On Your First Visit With Us

On you first visit with us at Bellara chiropractic you will be welcomed by our friendly staff and asked to complete a patient intake form. After completing this our doctor will then go through a detailed history to fully understand the stressors that have been placed on your body in and currently in your lifestyle.

We will then work together to best determine how we can help achieve your personal goals which may be:

  • Get out of pain
  • Maximise your posture
  • Exercise and perform better
  • Get healthier
  • Manage stress
  • Optimise daily quality of life.

Once we know how we can help you we will go through a thorough physical exam to determine the best way to treat you.

We want to do as much as we can for you on the day, so treatment is delivered with every initial consult. We have been trained in many techniques including manual adjustments, low force techniques and specific soft tissue work. Everybody is a little bit different therefore all adjustments are personalised to the needs of each person.

What to expect from chiropractic assessment

The Initial Chiropractic Assessment at Bellara Chiropractic

Our Bellara Chiropractors are experts in their field.  Our Chiropractors will always perform a comprehensive examination of your presentation, understanding your body and the direction of treatment required. The initial examination will include a detailed case history, physical examination, and digital imaging.  Your physical capacity will be assessed using a combination of movement, flexibility, postural, muscle, joint and nerve tests.

Upon completion of your initial consultation, our expert Chiropractors in Bellara will guide you through their findings, including the nature and cause of your presenting issue.  Provided your case is one we can help, you will receive your first treatment on this first visit.

Follow Up Visit: The Report Visit

On your second consultation, your Chiropractor will spend time with you discussing your response to treatment, along with an outline of recommendations for care, which may include specific exercises for you to incorporate as well.  The goal of the recommendations will be to restore function by correctly removing all sources of the problem.

Our team want you feeling your best, and your progress towards optimal spinal health will be consistently monitored.

Progress reports may be scheduled so that comparative postural exams can be performed to illustrate your improvements or where a little more work is required.
